Our hospital brings close-to-home care to west Wichita and the surrounding communities. Best of all, it's care backed by whole hospital support. Like our emergency services, with more board-certified emergency medicine specialists than any hospital in Kansas and an experienced team of emergency nurses. And all the resources of Via Christi Health.
Treating the whole person
The design of our hospital was driven by our desire to create the ideal patient experience, whether inpatient or outpatient. Here, you'll find nurses whose expertise is complemented by their commitment to outstanding service. You'll see more of your care team as your entire medical team makes rounds together, helping you and your family actively participate in decision-making and treatment.
We've also paid attention to the little things. Like getting the meal you want when you want it. Relaxed visiting rules and times. A remote that gives you control of your room temperature and window shades from your bed. And a soothing, biophilic environment that incorporates natural materials and an abundance of natural light. Just walking into the space can lower your blood pressure and calm nerves.
Leading the way
We've incorporated the latest healthcare technology to provide you with faster, more efficient treatment. Everything from high-definition surgery to networked medical records to smart communications for the nursing staff helps us deliver patient-centered care designed to help you achieve the best outcomes possible.
Our emergency room (ER) at 14800 W. St. Teresa in Wichita, KS has 14 private treatment rooms staffed and equipped to care for patients of all ages in any type of emergency situation.
