Mike Wegner received his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Central College in Pella, Iowa, in 1987, and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Iowa in 2003.
Wegner has more than 18 years experience in healthcare. Prior to joining Via Christi, he served as vice president of Finance at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.
He was named chief financial officer for Via Christi Wichita Health Network, now called Via Christi Hospitals Wichita, Inc. in March 2005. His title changed to senior administrator for finance in 2013 as part of a title structure change that occurred throughout Via Christi.
