What are the hours of operation? Current hours of operation are, Monday - Saturday: 9:00 am to 8:00 pm and Sunday: 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
This is a requirement of Medicare for billing in a facility that is an outpatient department and does not increase your total fee; however it does require that fees be billed separately. Each insurance carrier will be billed according to their billing requirements for outpatient departments.
Who will provide the care at the clinics? QuickCare is staffed by a physician or nurse practitioner.
What happens to patients too sick for QuickCare? When a patient comes into QuickCare with an emergent condition such as chest pain, open fracture of the long bone, severe abdominal pain, severe head injury or shortness of breath that patient will be transferred to the emergency department.
Will QuickCare see children? Staff see children over the age of 12 months with a non-emergent condition.
Will I be able to get my prescription filled at QuickCare? Not at this time. The physician or nurse practitioner gives a patient a prescription to be filled at a local pharmacy of choice.
What type of insurance is accepted? QuickCare is considered an outpatient department of Via Christi Hospital Pittsburg so all insurance accepted by the hospital will also be accepted by Quickcare.
What if I am using Medicare? As an outpatient department a facility fee and a physician or professional fee will be billed to your insurance carrier. (The average facility fee at this location is $102.00. The amount of your charge may be higher or lower depending upon the services you receive) Coinsurance and/or deductibles may be applied to both fees depending upon your insurance carrier. If you have a secondary insurance plan it may pay for part or all of your coinsurance.
