10 am - 9 pm 

Via Christi Hospital Pittsburg's Intensive/Critical Care Unit (ICU/CCU) features some of the latest in medical technology including state-of-the-art cardiac monitoring equipment and ventilator systems. The 9 bed unit has 3 enclosed private rooms, an isolation room, and centralized nursing station to further enhance patient care. A comfortable visitor and family lounge is available close by for family members and guests.

The Intensive/Critical Care Unit offers services 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

The Intensive Care Unit is located on our 4th floor and can be accessed from elevators located near the medical center's north entrance.

Visitors can be good medicine for both the patient and family members. Visits are restricted in the Intensive/Critical Care unit to persons over the age of 12. Special requests are considered on a case by case basis. Please contact an ICU/CCU nurse to answer specific questions about a planned visit to the unit.

Visiting hours are 10 am - 9 pm.
