The Chest Pain Center at Via Christi Hospital St. Francis has received full accreditation from the Society of Chest Pain Centers, receiving its original 3-year accreditation in 2009 and 3-year reaccreditation in 2012. The hospital on St. Francis was the first hospital in Kansas to successfully undergo review under the newest and most stringent standards.

The Heart Valve Clinic is also housed at St. Francis. The clinic’s multidisciplinary team of specialists care for patients with heart valve disease. It is the first clinic of its kind in south-central Kansas.

The Heart Failure Disease Management Program works to keep patients out of the hospital by providing multidisciplinary teams of specialists to monitor and assess all aspects of a patient’s care.

Via Christi unveiled its new hybrid operating room in August 2013. This state-of-the-art operating room contains the latest technology to offer all the capabilities of the catheterization lab and instant fixed imaging in a single space.
