Doctor’s 2013 landscapes calendar benefits Kansas kids
Merrill Thomas, DO, Immediate Care at Via Christi Clinic at Murdock, is taking orders for a 2013 full-color wall calendar featuring his American landscape photography, with sales benefitting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at Via Christi Health.
The calendar will feature color and black and white photography from Kansas, California and the Maritime provinces of Canada. To see examples of the landscape photographs, visit docthomasimaging.com.
Dr. Thomas, a family practice physician for nearly 30 years, has always been passionate about photography. His calendars-for-charity project started with the first sales in late 2007 of a 2008 calendar. The project has continued to grow every year with nearly 300 calendar sales in 2011.
Charities that have benefitted from past sales include Kansas Food Bank’s Food 4 Kids program, KMUW-FM’s Wichita Radio Reading Service, and Circle of Hope Charity.
