Mt. Carmel Regional Medical Center has been a healthcare leader in southeast Kansas for more than a century. A tradition of innovation and community service has earned national recognition from both the American Hospital Association and the Catholic Health Association. Mt. Carmel is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and is a member of the largest Catholic not-for-profit healthcare system in the state. The medical center has been fully engaged in growth and expansion over the last decade including the recent addition of a $16.5 million outpatient addition, including a new surgery center, emergency department and state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization lab.

All employers that utilize UnitedHealthcare for their employees health insurance may now access Mt. Carmel Regional Medical Center for all their health care needs.
