Critically ill patients receive an extra layer of care through eCare, which monitors patients' conditions around the clock by physicians and nurses with special training in critical care.

Cameras and microphones allow two-way communication between physicians and nurses in the ICU and the eCare Center staff, while "Smart Alert" software advises the staff should the patient's condition vary beyond set limits at any time.

That way, should immediate intervention be needed, eCare-ICU staff can partner with Medical Center caregivers to take action.
