Mt. Carmel Regional Medical Center has been a healthcare leader in southeast Kansas for more than a century. Carmel is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and is a member of the largest Catholic not-for-profit healthcare system in the state. The medical center has been fully engaged in growth and expansion over the last decade including the recent addition of a $16.5 million outpatient addition, including a new surgery center, emergency department and state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization lab.

All employers that utilize UnitedHealthcare for their employees health insurance may now access Mt. Carmel Regional Medical Center for all their health care needs.
