Tune in — and make a pledge — to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Radiothon, 6 a.m.-6 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Feb. 28 and March 1 on 102.1 The Bull and B-98 FM. The radiothon benefits CMN Hospitals at Via Christi Health.
The annual fundraiser will be broadcast live on Friday, March 1 from presenting sponsor Scholfield Hyundai Buick GMC, 11200 E. Central. Please call 1-877-719-5437 (KIDS) to make a pledge.
Local families and children who have been helped by CMN will share their stories with on-air talent throughout the broadcast.
The stations involved in the radiothon are committed to the mission of helping sick and injured children through this Children’s Miracle Network effort. One hundred percent of the dollars raised will stay in Kansas to help Kansas children in need. Services provided by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals include but are not limited to assisting with medications, lodging, therapy assistance, medical equipment and other needs associated with the care of a sick child.
Since the first radiothon held in 2001 in both Garden City and Wichita, more than $907,000 has been raised to meet the medical needs of Kansas children. Via Christi Children’s Miracle Network assists children in more than 64 counties across Kansas with direct medical assistance.
