Fathers-to-Be

Daddy Basics
Daddy Basics uses trained facilitators and "veteran" dads to cover topics such as:

Becoming a dad
Forming a new family
Caring for new moms
Safety issues
Preventing child abuse
Bonding
Balancing work and family
Forming a parenting team

This class also offers actual hands-on opportunities for new dads to become comfortable in caring for babies. Veteran dads will demonstrate activities such as:

Changing diapers
Feeding
Swaddling
Holding the baby
Dealing with crying
