CPR - Continuing Education Opportunities


ACLS HeartCode Course
The American Heart Association's Advanced Cardiac Life Support program is a web-based, self-directed learning program that allows you to learn and practice at your own pace.

Part One
The cognitive portion of the course consists of a Team Dynamics lesson, patient simulation cases, and a multiple choice exam.

Part Two
A skills testing session where you will demonstrate the physical ability to perform high quality CPR on a computerized adult manikin.

Testing Dates
Since the HeartCode program is web-based, you will complete Part One on your own time. Times to complete your Part Two at Mercy Regional Health Center can be scheduled based on availability during normal office hours, which are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
