Cardiac Services — The Heart Institute at Mercy Regional

Established in August 2007, The Heart Institute at Mercy Regional allows residents of the Flint Hills to receive quality interventional cardiac services without traveling far from home. The Heart Institute was created to build upon Manhattan's existing preventive, diagnostic and treatment services in cardiology.

In addition to routine cardiac testing and monitoring, our cardiologists perform interventional procedures such as angioplasty and stent placements within Mercy Regional's state-of-the-art catheterization laboratory. With respected cardiologists and the latest technologies now in place right here in Manhattan, patients in need of cardiology services don't have to travel to other communities. They can receive exceptional treatment and follow-up care close to their homes and loved ones.

A Community Effort
The Heart Institute at Mercy Regional is the result of years of tireless fundraising and recruitment efforts by our community. Hospital staff, the Mercy Community Health Foundation, the Mercy Auxiliary, and area citizens all did their part, working to simultaneously raise funding and awareness about heart disease.

Thank you to everyone who helped make The Heart Institute at Mercy Regional a reality.
